If you are looking at images of your art work and wishing they were better, this workshop may be just the thing. The daylong session covers the basics of getting the most out of your digital camera as well as practical tips for creating good quality images for web and print publicity with a minimum of equipment, and much of that DIY. Workshop covers core camera skills, including White Balance, Managing Exposure, understanding the relationship between pixels and reproduction, and a practical session allowing you to get the best of whatever equipment you have and some very simple lighting tricks. Suitable for pretty much any kind of digital camera from compact to DSLR.
The 3D workshop will develop ideas around lighting, background, managing focus, etc. You will need to bring your own camera and one small piece of work to practice on – there should be time to shoot your work for real in the afternoon. If you have a tripod, bring it. You can guess that life will be much easier if work is not behind glass….
