Using pattern, texture, shape and form children can explore, observe and develop their own creative and imaginative ideas. Clay can be used to interpret 2D designs into a 3D reality. Pupils can investigate and respond to direct sensory experiences to realise their creative potential and improve their manual dexterity. The clay creations will be taken away and fired in the kiln returned a few weeks later, giving children a glazed work of art to keep or children can make a ceramic installation for the school. Ideal for personalising an outdoor space or commemorating an event with a tile installation.
